Relics of St Oliver Plunkett will be available for veneration at the Conaty Chapel of the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre in Cavan on Wednesday, June 3, with the visit made possible through the support of the local Knights of St Columbanus.

Speaking ahead of the visit, Pastoral Centre Director Seán Coll said the centre is looking forward to welcoming visitors from across the diocese and beyond for an “opportunity to ask St Oliver’s intercession as they face a particular difficulty or issue in their lives,” whether a relational or health-related issue, or simply praying for those undertaking exams around this time of year. “Every person will have their own story and their own needs,” he continued.

Mass at 8pm on June 3 will be celebrated by Bishop Martin Hayes, and Mass earlier in the day will be offered for deceased members of the Knights of St Columbanus in the diocese.
