Inter-varsity Ball 2026 gathers Catholic youth in Dublin

University students gathered on February 7 in the Hotel Riu Plaza, The Gresham in Dublin, for the 2026 Catholic Inter-varsity Ball, organised by Trinity College Laurentian Society. The event, which is in its third year, was attended by 107 young people.

The evening started with Mass in St Saviour’s Church, followed by dinner and a Q&A with Senator Rónán Mullen. The gathering also had group activities, games, dancing and speed-dating.

Matthew Roche, of the University of Galway, said, “It was a privilege to attend such an event that demonstrates how vibrant and influential the Catholic faith really is on so many campuses across Ireland in 2026.”
