In a time filled with doubt and unanswered questions, Fr Darren Brennan of St Paul’s Parish in Belfast is offering up his time to provide a unique perspective on any problems and questions that Catholics may have.
The ‘Ask A Priest’ event, taking place on Monday, September 6 at St Paul’s Parish Centre, will be a part of the annual Belfast Rosary
Festival.
The event invites attendees to freely ask Fr Brennan their questions about the Church. The goal is to create a casual, friendly environment where people can ask about anything from liturgy or prayer to current events, with Fr Brennan offering the unique viewpoint of a priest.
The Belfast Rosary Festival will take place from Saturday, October 4 to Sunday, October 12, and will feature an event each day. The week of celebration will begin with Mass at St Michael’s Church, followed by a Camino to St Mary’s Chapel Lane. Family day will take place the following day at St Colman’s Hall.
Events later in the week include a talk from ex-gangster John Pridmore on his faith journey, a Eucharistic healing event and all-night Adoration.
The festival will end with a youth retreat at St Paul’s Parish Centre on Saturday, October 11, and a Rosary Procession from St John’s Parish to St Peter’s Cathedral, followed by a Catholic Organisations’ Fair on October 12.
